The older Atlas crossing, R203, narrower than Tichka and less photographed. A pass at 2,092 m, villages on the wall, then Asni and the Toubkal side. This is the one that still feels like a pass.

- Patchy tarmac, drop-offs without a wall, rockfall after rain. Snow shuts it. Slower than Tichka on purpose. Trucks are fewer; the road is worse.

Not Tichka
Tichka is the N9. This is the old road. If you wanted wide and fast, you are on the wrong pass.

No centre line worth trusting after dark. Asni by five, or stay south.

The old Atlas crossing. Villages on the wall, then the Toubkal side. I would not run it after dark. The N9 is the wide one.
