Fuel in Cafayate. Las Flechas at four — the fins went red. Nothing for fifty kilometres but goats. Cachi at dusk, the adobe still warm. Nevado de Cachi had snow on it.

January storm cut the quebrada. We waited in Molinos. RN40 here is not a schedule. Cachi the next morning was worth the night.
